Participating in this event was a heartwarming and fulfilling experience. Creating spring greeting cards for a local nursing/ veteran home with the children of SBU child care allowed me to contribute to spreading joy and kindness within the community. It was wonderful to collaborate with others at the SBU Childcare Center in a meaningful and creative way. This experience reinforced my passion for community service and highlighted the impact of small gestures in brightening someone's day.
