About
Become a Pharmacy Spanish Interpreter!
Help Spanish-speaking neighbors get prescription medications. Volunteers are needed in Crisis Control Ministry's pharmacy to serve on a weekly basis from 9 a.m.-Noon. Interpret for our staff and volunteers as they communicate with Hispanic/Latino neighbors coming to pick up their prescription medications. You do not need to have a medical background, but this is a great opportunity for bilingual students pursuing a career in healthcare. Our pharmacy staff will answer specific medication questions patients have. Excellent customer service skills are preferred. Ability to be on your feet for 3 hours. Training will be provided.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Please contact Abbey McCall, Director of Community and Volunteer Relations, at 336-770-1621 or volunteer@crisiscontrol.org to express your interest in volunteering.
