The Brown Center for Leadership & Service - Leadership Consultations

Welcome to the David and Wanda Brown Center for Leadership & Service (BCLS), the University of Florida's central hub for volunteerism, service-learning, community engagement, and leadership development. We empower students, faculty/staff, and community partners to create positive change through experiential learning and collaboration.

I am Kennedy Struck, Coordinator for Experiential Leadership Programs, and I am excited to guide you on your leadership journey! 

The BCLS offers a variety of leadership consultations designed to support students, faculty, staff, and student organizations in developing individual leadership skills and competencies as well as meaningful experiential leadership development experiences. As part of my role, I oversee LeadUF, leadership development workshops and presentations, and consult on specific leadership development programs and curriculums. All consultations can either be virtual or in person.

To best support your goals, I offer 4 consultation types: 

Individual Consultations (30 or 60 minutes | Virtual or In Person)

One-on-one sessions offering personalized guidance to evaluate leadership development, pinpoint growth areas, and create a tailored action plan. Participants leave with a clear roadmap and actionable next steps for skill-building and professional advancement.

Group Consultations (30 or 60 minutes | Virtual or In Person)

Collaborative sessions designed to strengthen team leadership practices, provide strategic insights, and support curriculum development for organizations. 

Leadership Enrichment Consultation (60 minutes | Virtual or In Person | May require multiple sessions)

Strategic partnerships with departments and organizations to build or enhance leadership programs through curriculum design, experiential learning, mentorship development, and implementation support for retreats and training.

Workshop & Presentation Consultation (30 minutes | Virtual)

Interactive and engaging experiences tailored to specific leadership competencies and organizational goals. Topics include communication, conflict resolution, mentorship, and more—with facilitation support available.
