Join us in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy through a day of community service and reflection! The MLK Day of Service, organized by the David and Wanda Brown Center for Leadership & Service (BCLS), is a chance for students, faculty, staff, and community members to come together and make a meaningful impact across Gainesville. This day not only celebrates Dr. King's vision of a "beloved community" but also empowers us to turn that vision into action through service and collaboration. Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of community issues and foster connections with local organizations.

Date: January 20, 2024
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Meet up at Reitz Union Atrium at 8 a.m. for transportation to various locations across Gainesville (participants can register for different shifts below)
Who Can Attend: Open to students, faculty, staff, and community members

Requirements

A waiver must be signed prior to using Brown Center Transportation.

Be sure to click on the Van Liability Waiver hyperlink to download, complete, sign and upload the document during the registration process.

Signed waiver is REQUIRED prior to departure from the Reitz Union.
